Sagraitalia and Libera Terra

Olivaverde is looking forward to becoming a prominent part of the Sagraitalia group from December 2011 as part of a restructuring of this popular and growing Italian centred food business.
The Olivaverde.co.uk website will also be receiving a new face lift with soem added features including the inclusion of  Libera Terra produce, tours and visits. Libera Terra is based in the south of Italy and Sicily and farms land which has been confiscated by the Italian state from the Mafia and organised crime.

Sagraitalia will also be using Libera Terra produce in many of the Italian food events that it holds all over the UK and will also be working closely with Libera to promote tours and holidays to Libera properties and Agriturismi in Sicily in 2012 and beyond.

Welcome to Oliva Verde

At Olivaverde we are passionate about promoting Extra virgin olive oil, pasta, cheeses and locally sourced foods produced by small farmers and artisans in the regions of southern Italy, especially the regions of Le Marche, Umbria and Puglia. Our aim to foster the appreciation and enjoyment of fine Extra virgin olive oil and other produce made in these regions and also to also educate a wider public about the benefits and differences in olive oils from these lesser known regions of Italy.

As well as the more commonly found blended Extra virgin olive oils we also offer organic and fine single variety olive oils which are rarely found outside of Italy. Our pasta and other fine produce are made to traditional recipes typically found in the villages and towns of Le Marche and the other regions of southern Italy, and all our Extra virgin olive oils are grown and bottled at source by small producers and artisan farmers.
