The prestigious food Festival takes place each year across the county of Norfolk and is held from the end of August through to the second week of October, with events being held in many villages and towns across the county as well as many taking place every week in the beautiful city of Norwich.
The venue for our event this year is a great setting for our food and drink event and will be the beautiful courtyard of the Library restaurant which is situated in the very centre of Norwich and just across from the world famous fixed market.
Olivaverde e Festivaldelgusto sono state contattate recentemente per prendere parte al prestigioso Norfolk Food and Drink Festival che si terrà questo autunno in tutto il Norfolk, nell'est Inghilterra. Terremo un evento in collaborazione con i membri di Slow Food England al the Raffles, un gruppo di ristoranti a Norwich, come parte della Norwich Restaurant Week.
Questo prestigioso Festival si tiene ogni anno nella regione del Norfolk in diverse aree dalla fine di Agosto fino alla seconda settimana di Ottobre, con eventi che hanno luogo in molti dei paesi della contea così come della città principale di Norwich.

At the food event at the Library in Norwich Olivaverde will be promoting and showcasing produce from the Le Marche region of Italy, including several organic olive oils, one of which is the superb oil from Galiardi of Cartoceto, also organic wines and a selection of other typical produce from this beautiful and relatively unknown part of Italy.
Our main aim at the Festival is to promote the excellent food and drink from Le Marche, this beautiful and unspoilt part of eastern Italy, because their superb products are still relatively unknown in the UK and we always support them where we can at events and Festivals in London and the east of England.
But because we are also working with the local Slow Food groups in Norfolk we will also be helping to promote the local artisan producers of fine Norfolk products at the Festival.
Other producers at the Library in Norwich for the restaurant week and the Norfolk Food and Drink festival will all be from Norfolk and will include the local beer maker, Elm Tree Beers, this small artisan beer maker makes a range of six fantastic beers which can be found all over the county. there will also be an English wine producer, an award winning cheese maker, an organic vegetable box scheme and several other local artisan food producers.
Durante l'evento al the Library Olivaverde promuoverà alcuni produttori dalla regione Italiana delle Marche tra cui diversi tipi di olio come il superbo olio di Cartoceto dell'azienda Galiardi, ma anche vini biologici e una selezione di tipici prodotti da questa meravigliosa ed ancora poco conosciuta regione d'Italia.
Il nostro obbietivo principale durante il Festival è la promozione di questa parte d'Italia e dei suoi rpodotti di altissima qualità ancora relativamente sconosciuti alla maggior parte del pubblico inglese. In contemporanea, tramite la nostra collaborazione con Slow Food Norfolk, aiuteremo anche nella promozione di produttori locali di specialità di nicchia e di qualità superiore.
La maggior parte dei produttori al The Library a Norwich, come parte delle celebrazioni del Norfolk Food and Drink Festival, proverranno tutti dal Norfolk ed includeranno tra gli altri un produttore artigianale di sei diversi tipi di birrabirra locale, Elm Tree Beers, un produttore di vino, uno pluripremiato caseificio, un agricoltore biologico di verdure e molti altri piccoli produttori artigiani locali.
There are several other events taking place in Norwich in September, several at the world famous entertainment centre, the Forum in the very centre of the city, we shall be holding an Italian food and drink event there in November as part of the continued Norwich Food festivals and other similar events being held in the autumn and winter throughout Norfolk.
Slow Food Norwich will be assisting us in the event at the Forum and also with other events we plan to hold in the villages of Thornham, Docking, Brancaster and Burnham Market on the north Norfolk coast, this area is popular with tourists from London and other major cities visiting all year round, and because of this it has many excellent restaurants and deli's to cater for them.
More recently north west Norfolk has gained in fame because Prince William and Kate have moved into the village of Anmer just a few miles from the coast and Johnnie Depp has purchased a large mansion house on the edge of Burnham Market village.
Ci saranno molti atri eventi che avranno luogo durante Settembre a Norwich, molti dei quali nel famoso centro polivalente il Forum, nel cuore della città, dove anche noi speriamo di poter organizzare una degustazione nel mese di Novembre come parte del Norwich Food Festival.
Slow Food Norwich ci aiuterà nella realizzazione di questo evento così come altri eventi che stiamo pianificando nell'area fino alla fine dell'anno in località quali Thotnham, Docking, Brancaster ed il Burnham Market nella zona più a nord del Norfolk. Questa parte è molto famosa per il turismo proveniente da Londra ed altre maggiori città Inglesi durante tutto l'anno e per questa ragione la zona vanta numerosi ed eccellenti ristornati e deli da usare come location.
